We thought it would be fun to start doing a post each night about a fun Christmas craft, recipe, family tradition and all things holly jolly.
If you are looking for ideas with your kiddos to teach them generosity and kindness through acts of service this Christmas season, check out Light’em Up – 100 ideas to light up your community with kindness. I met Courtney, the blogger behind Light’em Up a couple of years ago at a conference. I’ve followed her blog ever since, and absolutely love her core message of being an intentional mom.
I so want to be intentional this Christmas season with my children. Even though it’s the busiest time of the year in my business, time passes too quickly and I don’t want another Christmas to pass by with great ideas but no follow through. If I am being honest, ideas without follow through have happened too often. Year after year, I’ve had great intentions but allowed busyness to take over. Not this year, I want to make the MOST of the time I have left with my babies at home. At the same time, I’ve got to be realistic. I’ve got a 3 week old newborn baby. It’s going to be important for us to set a few realistic goals so that I don’t get overwhelmed.
Here is a link to check out Light’em up! Scroll down the page for a pdf printable that includes the 100 ideas to light up your community with kindness. You will also see a family planning guide, that I love!
