As a family, we are purposeful to actively seek out experiences that create family memories. However, with a family of 5 (soon to be 6), it can get expensive. I’ve had to find creative ways for us to enjoy outings as a family without it costing too much. Here are a couple of ways we’ve learned how to save money and experience family fun while saving money through Groupon.
- Everyone Loves to Eat! – Try out a new restaurant together as a family or one that has been around for a long time that you’ve meant to try. Make sure to check Groupon offers often as they are frequently updated.
- Explore Your City – We’ve lived in East Tennessee for over twenty years, yet there are so many attractions that we’ve never visited. Recently we bought a Groupon to a downtown Chattanooga, TN attraction that we had been missing out on for years. As a family turned it into an entire day out and about on the town and we had a blast.
- Kids Section for the Win – We love to surprise our kids with fun activities and excursions. The kid’s section on Groupon is a fabulous resource for trips to the zoo, a trampoline park, or a jump park. These kinds of activities can easily get pricey, especially if you have more than one child. However, by taking advantage of Groupon’s discounts, it will be much easier on the budget and a fun-filled day for everyone.
