This pregnancy is flying by so fast! It’s been a while, so I thought I would update you. I guess when you are busy with three other kids you don’t have time to think about it too much. Overall, I haven’t had any real issues. I passed my one-hour glucose test. I’ve moved to bi-weekly appointments, and since I’m in the “high risk” category, my doctor is alternating a non-stress test one week and an ultrasound the next until 32 weeks then I switch to weekly appointments.
I’m officially due on December 19th. However, I’ve got blood clotting issues which make it more dangerous for me to go forty full weeks. If I don’t go into labor on my own before, my doctor will induce me at 39 weeks. In my previous pregnancies I went into labor on my own at 37 weeks with my first, 36 weeks with my second, and then had to be induced with my third.
I’m still sick a couple of days a week even taking Diclegis 3 times a day, but it’s not as bad as it was. I’m not sure what bothers me more, feeling yucky or having a rib flare. Since my uterus is tilted back, I carry my babies high. As a result in every single pregnancy, I have had a rib fare, which is inflammation of the rib/s and one or more ribs are out of their proper positioning. Even so, I am thankful for every single moment that I get to carry this miracle of life. The uncomfortable part of pregnancy is fleeting, and it is so worth every single second.
