I am loving Project Simplify, and I hope you are too. Not only is it helping me be purposeful in cleaning, organizing, and decluttering my home, it kicking my behind in gear to finish a project each day. Being intentional is such a key in reaching long-term goals. If you missed the first post in this series, click here to catch up. I hope you will join me as we choose one project per day, no matter how small. Since I started in my kitchen last week, I’m going to stay here until I complete the entire room.
Before: Baking Pan Cabinet
Y’all everything within me wanted to skip Project Simplify today. After a weekend away and our first day back at homeschooling this morning, this prego momma is worn out. But, I knew if I would just get started I’d be so glad that I did, and it would only take a few minutes. If I skipped it today, it would also be easier to do the same tomorrow. So, I picked a cabinet and got to work, and it only took me a few minutes. It honestly didn’t seem too bad before, until I looked at the after picture.
After: Baking Pan Cabinet
If you are wondering about all that silver stuff and foam in the back left corner of the cabinet, it’s an air duct for the heat/AC that opens up to the wall in the sunroom.
You can’t tell by the other pictures, but one way I create extra storage in my kitchen is by adding organizers like the door mount kitchen wrap organizer pictured above. Not only does it allow me to add extra space, but it doesn’t compromise storage capacity in the rest of the cabinet.
