The staggering prices at the pump have most of us looking for new ways to save. Besides driving less (or more slowly), and subscribing to dubious strategies like “filling up the tank when it’s cool” what else is there? You might be surprised to learn that simply picking up your weekly groceries is the newest, best way to save money on gas. It’s all due to grocery gas reward programs like Fuelperks!

By shopping at these grocery stores, you’ll accumulate reward points that translate into ¢ Off per gallon. In general, Fuelperks and other gas rewards are awarded like so ~ $50 Spent = 5¢ Fuelperks (or 5¢ off per Gallon of gas). Look for items each week that will earn you BONUS fuelperks — from 3¢ to 50¢ per gallon!
(Ex. Earn 15¢ Fuelperks with a purchase of any General Mills Cereal)
- Let it ride
Every shopping trip adds more fuelperks! to your total. Redeem your combined fuelperks at the end of the month —and you’ll save a lot more per gallon.
- Gift Cards = Double Rewards
Earn 10¢ in fuelperks for ever $50 spent on Gift Cards. If you’re clever – you’ll want to start purchasing Gift Cards for stores you already plan to shop at (restaurants, department stores, drugstores, etc…) This will help you build up gas rewards very quickly. Let’s say you plan on doing some home remodeling and purchase $500 in Lowe’s Gift Cards. That’s $1 in fuelperks, and on a 20-gallon fill up you’ll save $20!
