It is time for Ashley Lauren’s Closet Children’s Consignment Sale again! It only happens twice a year in the fall/winter then again in the spring/summer. Right now it is open to the public through Saturday in Cleveland, TN. You can find details regarding hours of operation and address here. I shopped this weekend and got amazing deals on clothes, shoes, and toys for my kids. I’ve included a couple of my favorite items below so I could show you.
I didn’t buy as much as I usually do because we have given away about 70% of everything we own the past three years as we have made preparations to sell our home. We are now about three weeks away from finally getting it listed so I will be sticking with a minimal wardrobe this fall and winter. In addition to the pics below, we also stocked up on princess dress, My Little Pony Costumes, and a couple more dress up outfits.
It doesn’t snow here very often, and I would never buy snow bibs at full price, but after peeling five layers of wet clothes off my toddler last winter on a snow day, I decided that I’d be on the lookout at the Ashley Lauren’s Closet sale for more appropriate snow attire. I found one pair of snow bigs for $5, and the other was $6 for bibs and the coat. I couldn’t pass up a deal like that.
Our oldest needed a couple of pairs of new pajamas. You can’t beat $1 per pair.
Our little girls love wearing dresses. Together these were only $7.
These are just a few of the shoes we bought. We also purchased a bag full of princess shoes, which made our little girls jump for joy. The Nike shoes in the back were only $4, and they are in excellent condition! One of the black sparkly shoes in the front are Toms, and they were only $5. We buy almost all our shoes at the Ashley Lauren’s Closet Consignment sale each year.
I also got each of our girls a pair of jeggings for $2 each.
Since my 14-year-old daughter and 12-year-old son weren’t able to come with us shopping that day I didn’t buy them anything. I have learned to let them choose their own clothes. We plan on going back later this week so they can shop.
I love saving money where I can in ways that are easy and fit into my life. If you aren’t already shopping at children’s consignment sales, it’s a great way to save money and make money on last years’ wardrobe. If you live anywhere near the Cleveland, TN area, you’ll want to make arrangements to shop at Ashley Lauren’s Closet. For hours of operation and location, click here.
