We’ve been frequenting Chuck E. Cheese’s with our kids for years. As a mom of four, it’s always been such a fun place that we can take our kids to make memories by enjoying a meal together and playing games. With kids of varying ages (ages 13, 11, 2, and 9 months) it can be challenging to find both food and fun that we all enjoy. However, with the revamp of Chuck E. Cheese’s menu, there are now more choices than ever for kids and parents alike to enjoy including specialty pizza flavors, an endless salad bar, dessert, and fabulous snack options. This month has been so crazy we haven’t been able to enjoy a family day in a while, so we headed down to Chuck E. Cheese’s Saturday afternoon to enjoy dinner together and to some family-friendly game competition.
First, we placed our order and got our play passes so that the kids could play games while we were waiting on our order. We settled on a Family Deal that included 30 play passes, a large pizza, and 4 large drinks. We added all you can eat salad bars for the hubs and I and a family sampler platter.
We started out with an all you can eat salad bar. There were tons of different fruits, veggies, protein options, and dressings.
My salad was delish with just the right amount of toppings.
Of course, my kids were super excited about this new snack offering, the Family Sampler that includes wings, breadsticks, tater bites and celery. I love that it included foods the entire family would enjoy.
We are rather boring when it comes to pizza options as we always order 1/2 cheese and 1/2 pepperoni to keep everyone in the family happy, but you can be adventurous. With the menu revamp, Chuck E. Cheese’s added parent-friendly options including a gluten-free crust, thin & crispy crust, as well as various specialty pizza options like BBQ, Cali Alfredo, Veggie, Philly Cheese Steak. Not to mention, that between Oct 1 – and Dec 31, the fan favorite, Mac Cheesy Pizza will return. My two year old will go crazy over that one! Chuck E. Cheese’s recently beat out Pizza Hut in a nationwide blind taste test by winning 60 percent of the votes for their Thin & Crispy pepperoni pizza over the same at Pizza Hut.
We didn’t order dessert on this trip, but it looked amazing! With choices like a cinnamon dessert pizza, churros, and a giant warm chocolate chip cookie there is something everyone will enjoy.
Next time, we are going to plan our trip during the week between 11 am and 2 pm to take advantage of the All-You-Can-Eat Buffet. For only $6.49 families can enjoy endless pizza, salad, and dessert. Plus, kids under 2 eat free, and ages 10-3 eat for only $4.49. For my family of 6, this is a fabulous deal.
After we enjoyed our meal, we played games for a while. We had a blast with the big kids as many of the games they play now we can all compete together. Then, the games they used to play their baby sister is now playing.
My big kids don’t always cash in their tickets at the end of our trip. Over the years, they’ve saved tickets from several big trips so that could choose a bigger prize.
Needless to say, they were all thrilled with the prizes they won. At the end of our trip, everyone was extra happy. Chuck E. Cheese’s is one of those places for our family that brings back so many wonderful memories. From friends’ birthday parties to family days, and more we’ve always enjoyed our experiences. If you haven’t been to Chuck E. Cheese’s lately, plan a trip to check out their revamped food options. Make sure to check out their online coupons before you for the best deals.
