4 Reasons Why I Tried a New Diaper
I have four kids of all different ages from 14 years old down to 16 months. Having two in diapers again has been a real wakeup call for me. You think you have one in diapers figured out and then the next kid doesn’t start teething until 14 months old, which leads to yucky diaper rashes all of a sudden. As a result, I thought it might be time to change up our diaper routine. When I was contacted by Pampers to check out their new Pampers Pure collection, I was excited to hear more. After I spent a little time researching Pampers Pure, I couldn’t wait to make the plunge. Here are 4 reasons why, after 14 years of using various kind of diapers, I decided to give a new diaper a try.
#1. Pampers Pure diapers are free of chlorine bleaching, fragrance, and parabens.
We were looking for an option that provided less ingredients but still provided great leakage
protection. One reason we gave Pampers Pure a try is that their products are free of chlorine bleaching, fragrance, and parabens.
#2. A simpler approach can be gentler on their skin
While I’ve never have been an absolute dedicated “natural” person, when my youngest daughter began to teethe, she started getting diaper rashes consistently. I love that Pampers Aqua Pure wipes are made with 99% water and don’t have any of the extra junk. These wipes have the highest water content possible and are still super friendly to a baby’s skin. I could tell that these wipes were much more gentle on her bottom because she didn’t wince or pull away when I used them. Pampers Aqua Pure Wipes:
- Are made from 99% water
- Are dermatologically tested
- Are free of parabens, dye, and alcohol
- Are cotton enhanced
#3. Leaking diapers are no fun!
I think a reason in the past that I haven’t tried new diapers with more thoughtfully selected ingredients is that I wasn’t fond of leaks, and I was afraid they wouldn’t be as leakproof. However, I am happy to say that Pampers Pure diapers are different and offer leak protection for up to 12 hours. After trying them on both of our baby girls, we have not had one single leak. These diapers are made with soft, plant-based fibers and other thoughtfully selected materials and feature:
- Exterior wetness indicator
- Absorbent Polymer
- Absorbent top sheet
- Soft outer cover
#4. In this case, 0% is a good thing!
When I realized that Pampers Pure was using 0% chlorine bleaching, fragrance, parabens, and natural rubber latex – it made my mama heart happy. It’s not easy to find products like this that are exactly what I think they should be – simple and effective.
Let’s not forget that Pampers is a leading brand and you know they have all sorts of adorable prints for you to check out! Pampers Pure diapers are available in sizes N through 5, and can now be found with Pampers Pure Aqua wipes at Sam’s Clubs nationwide and on samsclub.com. Sam’s Club pack sizes of Pure are larger than at other retailers, offering a greater value, which is important to me, especially with two in diapers.
