I am absolutely loving Project Simplify, and I hope you are too. Not only is it helping me be purposeful in cleaning, organizing, and decluttering my home, it kicking my behind in gear to finish a project each day. Being intentional is such a key in reaching long-term goals. If you missed the first post in this series, click here to catch up. I hope you will join me as we choose one project per day, no matter how small. Since I started in my kitchen yesterday, I’m going to stay there until I complete the entire room. Today’s project was my cabinet of pots and pans.
Before: Pots & Pans Cabinet
It wasn’t terrible before, but it’s definitely better now. I added the package of brand new bowls in the top right corner to my yard sale pile because I already have enough. I also took out the cabinet liner and vacuumed and wiped out the entire cabinet. Since it usually ends up wrinkled in all the wrong places, I just threw it away.
So much better and it didn’t take but just a few minutes. Evidently, when we walk around the kitchen our feet (probably my feet) hit the very bottom of the cabinets and scuff them up. I’m going to have to get a magic eraser and clean along the very bottom of the cabinets one day underneath the overhang. Or, maybe I won’t because no one can actually see this unless they are sitting on the floor staring at it.
