I am loving Project Simplify, and I hope you are too. Not only is it helping me be purposeful in cleaning, organizing, and decluttering my home, it kicking my behind in gear to finish a project each day. Being intentional is such a key in reaching long-term goals. If you missed the first post in this series, click here to catch up. I hope you will join me as we choose one project per day, no matter how small.
Today’s project was something I had just been putting off for a while. Since homeschool has started back, my time has been so limited, and I knew this project would take some time. A friend of mine loaned us clothes for the baby, but she had grown out of most of them. So, for the past two days, I’ve been washing all the clothes and putting everything back in the appropriate boxes to take to her tonight at church. In addition to simplifying our home, I’ve been streamlining our wardrobes too. I have found that we wear the same outfits over and over no matter how many other clothes are in our closet. So, to make it easier to keep our closets and drawers tidy, I’m not buying as much for any of us.
