Homemade Peach Cobbler {with fresh peaches}

Ingredients

  • 6 cups fresh sliced peaches
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons self rising flour
  • 1 stick of butter melted
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 1 cup of self rising flour
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • cinnamon

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • Slice 6 cups of fresh peaches (make sure not to slice too small).
  • Add 3/4 cup sugar and 2 tablespoons self rising flour to the fresh peaches and stir.
  • Pour peaches into a 9 X 13 greased pan.
  • Combine melted butter, 1 cup milk, 1 cup self rising flour, and 1 cup sugar until the lumps are gone.
  • Pour mixture carefully over peaches, but do not stir.
  • Sprinkle cinnamon generously on top.
  • Bake for 45 min to an hour or until top is golden brown.
  • Serve with vanilla ice cream.
