Creamy Slow Cooker Chicken with Bacon & Cheese {low carb & keto}

  • 2 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts depending on how many people you are serving
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 tsp poultry seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp rosemary
  • 1/4 tsp thyme
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 1/3 cup chicken broth
  • 3 pieces of cooked bacon crumbled
  • 1/3 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 3 oz cream cheese
  • 1 3/4 cup cheese
  • 3 pieces of bacon crumbled
  • salt/pepper to taste


  • Season the chicken with salt and pepper, then add to the slow cooker.
  • Add butter, poultry seasoning, rosemarry, thyme, garlic cloves, and chicken broth to the crock pot with the chicken.
  • Cook some bacon either in a skillet or in the oven and then crumble over the top of the chicke,.
  • Cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 to 3 1/2.
  • Add heavy whipping cream to slow cooker.
  • Dollop cream cheese on top and stir to combine all ingredients.
  • Using 2 forks, shred chicken in slow cooker.
  • Add 1 3/4 cups of cheddar cheese (or more if you'd like) then crumble 3 pieces of cooked bacon on top.
  • Place the top back on the slow cooker and allow cheese to melt. 
  • Enjoy!
