Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Spray 9 X 13 pan with cooking spray.
Spread one can of crescent rolls in the bottom of the pan by pinching rolls together. You may need to use your hands to stretch them out a bit to cover the bottom of the pan entirely.
In a bowl, use a mixer to combine cream cheese, 1 cup sugar, and 1 tsp vanilla.
Spread cream cheese mixture on top of crescent rolls.
On a cutting board or floured surface, unroll the second can of crescent rolls. Pinch seams and place dough on top of the cream cheese mixture. Make sure that it extends to the sides and ends of the pan. You will need to flatten it out between your hands or use a roller to stretch it out before placing on top of crescent rolls.
In a small bowl, combine melted butter, 1/2 cup sugar, and 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon.
Pour mixture on top of crescent rolls.
Bake 27-30 minutes.
Serve warm.
