Prepare the sausage patties - Remove the sausage patties from the packaging. Use thawed raw pork, turkey, or chicken sausage patties for best results. Pat the patties dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture.
Preheat the air fryer - Set the air fryer temperature to 400°F. Allow it to fully preheat, about 3-5 minutes.
Add sausage patties - Insert air fryer liner for easier cleanup. Place patties in a single layer in the basket without overcrowding. Leave some space around each patty.
Air fry patties - Air fry patties for 5-7 minutes at 400°F flipping the patties half way through.
Check internal temp - Use a meat thermometer to ensure the inside of the patties reaches 160°F minimum.
Remove and serve - Remove air fryer basket and transfer cooked sausage patties to a paper towel lined plate to absorb extra grease. Let rest for 1-2 minutes before serving warm.
