Printable Christmas Planner: A Purposeful Peaceful Christmas
Purposeful Peaceful Christmas planner 2017
I cannot believe that Christmas is upon us again, this year has gone by so fast! I am so excited to announce to you that we have revamped the Christmas Planner we designed a couple of years ago and are releasing to you as a FREE PRINTABLE! I so want to have as little stress in my life as possible where Christmas is concerned. I don’t want the most wonderful time of the year to come and go with regrets. But, I know that unless I make preparations now and start planning, then I will end up missing out on special moments with my family. I’ll be honest planning and lists are not a normal part of my personality at all. You are going to love our updated printable Christmas planner.
Focused Not Frazzled
• I have found that the best way to start any new undertaking is with prayer. So, if you are comfortable, find a few quiet moments and spend them sharing your heart to God. It is He who knows the deepest desires of your heart, and it is He who will guide us to understand our areas of struggle.
• Print the newly revamped FREE printable Christmas Planner; there is no time like the present!
The goal of this process is to help each of us find and achieve a peaceful and purposeful Christmas. But, before we get too far into the planning process, there is one quick point that I feel is important.
Ladies….first and foremost….please give yourself permission to be yourself!
This process is all about suggestions and finding your path to peace. It is not about legalistic rules and deadlines that force you to get caught up in a “schedule.” I can admit to you all that as much as I want to be organized and prepared, the thought of making a list stresses me out. It makes me feel as if my already full plate has become a never-ending buffet that I have no hope of working my way through. And, when I think about all of the different lists involved in planning for the holiday season I start to feel a bit claustrophobic and as if I am running around in circles with my pants on fire!
But I have to look at the big picture. I desperately want to experience a peaceful Christmas Season, and I know, from experience, that it will not happen spontaneously. So, I take my personality into consideration, prioritize my stressors and work my way through. In short, I make the program work for me rather than trying to make me work for it.
Tasks to Tackle!
- Purposeful Peaceful Christmas
Take a few moments to write down how you want your Christmas to look. Start backward, pretend it’s the day after Christmas and reflect on everything you just experienced over the past two months. If you could write your ideal story how would it look? What kind of traditions do you want to follow or what kind of new traditions do you want to make? How would you like to incorporate giving? What do you want your kids to remember the most? Once you have the true picture of what your heart desires for your family, you’ll be able to create a plan that leads you to your Purposeful Peaceful Christmas. The very first page of our Christmas Planner is designed just for you to write down your thoughts.
- Christmas Cards!
No, it’s not the time to send them out quite yet! But, if you take a few minutes this week to start making your list and figuring out which addresses you need to hunt down, then things will go much smoother when the time comes to hit the post office.
- Focus on Giving
We have all heard, and if we are fortunate lived, the saying that “it is better to give than to receive.” But how are our children supposed to know this if we do not take the time to introduce them to the concept? Therefore, one of the most important things that we can do this week is to take some time, sit down with our families and focus on giving. There are two sheets in your planner to help guide us through the thought process. We even have one specifically for kiddos who are old enough to write. This is such a valuable tool to help take the focus off ourselves and to help our kids see beyond themselves. If I want my children to become purposeful givers, then I’ve got to model a lifestyle of giving.
I hope you enjoy this planner as much as I have and your Christmas this year is full of purpose and peace.

I’m a little late to use the NOV calendar, but using the rest of the pages to make sure I haven’t forgotten anything or anyone. So pretty!!
I’m so glad you like it. I hope that it’s helpful for you.
Love your printables for Christmas planning. Do you by chance have one for 2017?
I am updating it right now as we speak.
Thank you for providing this! Will you be updating it for 2018?
You are so very welcome. Time got away from me this year so there won’t be a calendar update. Hopefully, I will remember next year to do it much earlier.
Do you have 2018 Christmas planner pages. Loved using it in 2017
Hi Katie, I don’t think we are going to update the calendar this late in the game. Time got away from me this year.
