Christmas Tree Grahams
I see so many cute recipes online that I think I can make. In reality, I know that most would take me hours upon hours and end up looking like a Pinterest fail. This recipe is so simple, easy, and festive for the Christmas season. It won’t take an entire day to make and the kiddos can join. In fact, I think it’s easier than rolling out sugar cookie dough and making decorated cookies. You can make as many or as little as they want and you could even try out other themes such as snowflakes, mittens, wreathes, etc.

Christmas Tree Grahams Ingredients –
  • 12 oz green candy melts
  • graham cracker squares M&M baking bits (located in the baking section)
  • Rolos, cut in 1/2 (keeping them in the fridge prior to making your trees help them hold their shape while cutting in 1/2)
  • small sadnwich baggie
  • kitchen scissors
  • toothpicks
Directions –
#1. Pour the green candy melts into a microwave safe dish. Heat in the microwave in 30-40 second increments, stirring until melted. Allow the melted chocolate to cool slightly before handling.

#2. Scoop the melted green chocolate into the small sandwich baggie. Snip the end and make a small triangle outline on a graham cracker square (see photo).
#3. Give each tree a base using 1/2 a Rolo – use the toothpick to spread a little bit of melted chocolate onto the flat side and place under the tree.

#4. Fill in the tree with the green chocolate and use a toothpick to fill in the gaps (see photo).

#5. Use the mini M&M baking bits to decorate the tree. (see photo)
#6. Repeat with the desired amount of graham cracker squares.
