This recipe for keto Sheet Pan Sausage and Veggies is a super easy meal, which is perfect for busy nights. Since my hubby and kids love smoked sausage, I wanted to make a one-pan dinner that I knew everyone would enjoy. A bonus is that clean up would be a breeze.

A sheet pan dinner is a dinner that only needs one pan for the entire meal from start to finish. It makes preparing dinner and clean up extremely simple. Since all of the ingredients, in this case, the sausage and vegetables, are cooked together, the flavors blend and create an extra flavorful meal.
Can I eat sausage on keto?
You can eat sausage on the keto diet. Not all sausage is created equally. Some sausage might have more carbs than others, so I always check the labels and choose the sausage that has the least amount of carbs. When possible, a nitrate-free version is ideal.
Start by cleaning the vegetables. I prefer to soak them in the sink in water and about 1/4 cup vinegar. Then, rinse well and lay them on a towel to dry. If you are in a hurry, you can pat them dry. You’ll want to make sure they are nice and dry so that the oil can coat them for the spices to stick. I used Old Bay seasoning in this recipe, but you could sub Italian seasoning instead.
Next, chop the veggies and sausage in uniform sizes. Throw everything in a bowl together along with the olive oil and spices and toss so that they are evenly coated. The best thing about this recipe, besides how good it tastes, is that it is versatile. If you don’t love all the veggies listed or simply don’t have them all on hand, feel free to make substitutes with other low carb vegetables.

What Kind of Smoked Sausage Do I Use in This Recipe?
While you can use whatever sausage you prefer, I like to use Sam’s Choice All Natural Beef Smoked Sausage from Walmart. It has a great flavor, and it is only 1g carbs. If you choose another brand of sausage, you’ll want to check the carb count. While I use beef sausage in this recipe, you can also use pork sausage or chicken sausage.
Tip: As I mentioned, when you are making this sheet pan meal, line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. This makes clean up a breeze. Simply throw away the parchment paper and wash the baking pan. No heavy scrubbing is required.
How Long to Cook Sheet Pan Sausage and Veggies?
When you are cooking this sheet pan veggies and sausage recipe, you’ll bake at 400 degrees for about 18 minutes. Make sure to turn the sausage and vegetables halfway through the cooking time, so everything cooks evenly. Also, all ovens bake differently, so be mindful that it could be ready before the suggested baking time.
Can I Cook this recipe in the air fryer?
Making this recipe in the air fryer is easy. You will want to set the air fryer to 400 degrees and cook for 8 minutes. Around the halfway mark, shake the basket. Depending on the size of your air fryer, you may need to cook it in two batches.
What Do I Serve Keto Healthy Sausage and Veggies?
This Keto Healthy Sausage and Veggies is a complete meal on its own. However, when I want to fill this dinner out more, I like to serve it with a leafy garden salad of mixed greens.

How to Make Keto One Pan Sausage and Veggies:
Keto Sheet Pan Sausage and Veggies
- 1/2 onion
- 1 small squash
- 1 small zucchini
- 6 oz broccoli florets (approx 2 cups)
- 1/2 red pepper
- 14 oz smoked sausage
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp old bay seasoning
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- Cover a sheet pan with parchment paper.
- Wash and dry veggies then cut them all the same size in approx one-inch chunks. It’s important to cut them the same size so that they cook evenly.
- Combine all the veggies in a bowl.
- Slice the sausage in one-inch circles.
- Add the sausage to the veggies then add olive oil and seasoning.
- Stir until the sausage and veggies are evenly coated.
- Pour onto the cookie sheet in a single layer.
- Bake for 8 minutes, then turn everything over and bake for another 8 minutes or until veggies reach desired doneness.
