Step 1: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and grease an 8 X 8 baking pan.
Step 2: Combine butter, eggs, egg white, Lakanto Monkfruit powdered, cinnamon, and vanilla and beat well.
Step 4: Add coconut flour, baking powder, and salt to the other ingredients and mix well.
Step 5: Pour batter into the baking dish.
Step 6: In a separate bowl, add all the ingredients for the topping and stir with a fork to combine all the ingredients.
Step 7: Spoon topping evenly on top of batter.
Step 8: Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick or knife inserted in the middle comes out clean. When it comes out of the oven, some of the butter from the topping will be on top, but it will settle down into the cake, making it amazingly moist and delicious as it cools.
Keto Coffee Cake Notes:
- The Lakanto Monkfruit sweetener can be swapped out for Swerve for the same variety. For example, Swerve Confectioners is the same as Lakanto Monkfruit Powdered, and Swerve Brown can be swapped for Lakanto Monkfruit Golden.
- You may use almond flour instead of coconut flour, but not at the same measurement as coconut flour is very absorbent, so you need more almond flour. ¼ cup coconut flour equals 1 cup almond flour.
- The sugar alcohols from both the Lakanto Monkfruit Powdered and Lakanto Monkfruit Golden are not included in the nutritional information since most people subtract to calculate net carbs.
HOW TO STORE THIS KETO CINNAMON COFFEE CAKE RECIPE
The best way to store this keto dessert is to store it in the fridge for later. Cover it with a lid and keep it cool. Then, when you’re ready to eat, remove it from the fridge and enjoy it. You can also freeze it by wrapping individual servings in saran wrap then place them in a freezer-safe container to prevent freezer burn.
TIPS FOR MAKING THIS LOW CARB COFFEE CAKE
When you first take the cake out of the oven, some of the butter from the streusel topping will be sitting on the top. Don’t worry, this is normal. The butter will seep down into the cake as the cake cools, making it even more amazing.

In the directions step 3, do you mean Monkfruit powdered?
Yes, the recipe was updated a while back Thanks!
Hello,
I noticed that the monkfruit in the ingredients and directions don’t match up. In the ingredients, powdered is in the cake and golden is in the topping…just wanted to clarify which one I’m to use where.
Thank you for this recipe. It looks amazing!
Sarah
Powdered in the cake and golden in the topping.
How many servings per cake, did I miss that? I love cinnamon! Anxious to try the recipe. ?

Made this cake with some substitutions and it was very good… used almond flour instead of coconut and Splenda instead of Monkfruit in the cake part and a splenda/brown sugar mix I already had on hand and wanted to use up instead of the Monkfruit brown in the topping even though I know that raised the carbs. Hopefully, using almond flour instead of coconut in the cake offset the additional carbs. I found this to be like a cinnamon coffee cake.
Gald you enjoyed!!
I made the cinnamon cake. I Didn’t have monk fruit so used stevia. It was delicious. Thank you!
Hey, Brenda. Glad you liked it! Hope all is well.
This cinnamon cake is undetectable from a flour/sugar cinnnamon coffee cake, actually better but because it’s not dry from first piece to last. Third time making it in two weeks!!! Love
Awesome! Glad you enjoyed!
I have monkfruit golden for the topping and powdered swerve for the cake… Is it a 1:1 ratio for the monkfruit/swerve? 1/2 monkfruit=1/2 swerve?
Monkfruit and Swerve are interchangeable 1:1.
Can I substitute coconut oil for butter?
I have only tried as is. Not sure the coconut oil for butter is going to work.
Is his 6 net carbs or 2 net carbs?
2 net carbs
Kasey you are a keto recipe wizard!! I can’t wait to try this one. All your recipes have been a huge hit. Thank you so much for sharing.
Thank you so much for your kind words of support, Sabrina. I hope you enjoy this recipe.
Do you melt the butter first?
Yes, it is melted in the cake and in the topping.
Yep sure do.
Could you use coconut sugar instead? This looks delicious and I’m excited to give it a try.
I’ve only made it as is but I am sure it would work fine.
I made this today and it was an absolute hit! Truly delicious! Thanks for sharing!
Awesome! Glad you enjoyed it!
I used a 8″ round pan. Had to bake an extra 15 min until it wasn’t wet in the center. Smells amazing.
How much carbs i the full cake
9 servings at 265 calories per serving.
Would it turn out good if I halved the recipe?
I have only tested it as is, but I would think it would be fine if you used a smaller baking pan and watched the baking time.
