Keto Meal Plan Example 

Well so far, our year has started a little sickly. This week has entailed the flu for 3 out of 4 kids and possibly the 4th today along with croup for one earlier in the week and a double ear infection to boot. I’ve got bronchitis and fluid on both ears so needless to say we all are getting a little bit of cabin fever, but I know better than to take our germs anywhere. As I sit at home today and think about the upcoming week, I’m hoping this keto meal plan example will help me to stay focused as I feel so far behind on many other things around here.

Many people ask why I create a Keto Meal Plan example each week. Simply put, it helps me to stay on track and to keep my grocery budget from getting out of control. Also, I try to work smarter and not harder in the kitchen meaning I often double recipes for leftovers so that I don’t have to prepare additional meals at lunch each day. My goal each week is to keep it simple. Otherwise, I get overwhelmed. I don’t spend hours in the kitchen each week prepping tons of foods in advance as I just don’t have the time. Monday:

Breakfast – Bulletproof Coffee or Bacon & Eggs

Lunch – leftover Keto Chili I have in the freezer (Keto Chili Instant Pot recipe or Keto Chili stovetop recipe)

Dinner – Taco Salad with The Very Best Taco Meat 

Tuesday:

Breakfast – Bulletproof Coffee or Mixed Berry Muffins and Bacon

Lunch – Taco Salad with The Very Best Taco Meat 

Dinner – Broccoli & Cheese Soup (Broccoli & Cheese Instant Pot Recipe or Broccoli & Cheese Soup Stovetop recipe) with a salad

Wednesday:

Breakfast – Bulletproof Coffee or leftover Mixed Berry Muffins and Bacon

Lunch –  leftover Broccoli & Cheese Soup

Dinner – Spaghetti made with low carb spaghetti sauce and Roasted Spaghetti Squash
* Two great low carb spaghetti sauce options are Rao’s and Mezzetta’s. I have found them both at Walmart, and Mezzetta’s is priced much less.

Thursday

Breakfast – Bulletproof Coffee or leftover Mixed Berry Muffins and Bacon

Lunch – leftover Spaghetti made with low carb spaghetti sauce and Roasted Spaghetti Squash

Dinner – Smoked Sausage & Cabbage

Friday

Breakfast –  Bulletproof Coffee or Keto Breakfast Casserole with Ham, Egg, and Cheese 

Lunch – leftover Smoked Sausage & Cabbage

Dinner – Pizza Casserole with a salad

Saturday

Breakfast – leftover Keto Breakfast Casserole with Ham, Egg, and Cheese 

Lunch – clean out the fridge of all the leftovers from the week

Dinner – Butter Burgers & Roasted Broccoli

Snacks – Homemade Cheese Cracker Crisps, pecans, or pork rinds

Sweet Treat – Chocolate Cheesecake Muffins

  1. Do you end up frying bacon every morning? Or do you have a trick to making and saving large amounts!? Thanks!!

    1. I bake a couple packs at a time. I store the leftovers in a zippered storage bag in the fridge. My hubs grabs a couple of pieces each morning on his way out the door.

  2. I just wanted to thank you. I am a carb junkie and I always have been. I started following your KETO plan 2 weeks ago. My husband decided to join me – mostly to pacify me until I got tired of it and quit. Well I haven’t quit and in just the first 2 weeks my husband has gone from sleeping til 9 every morning and needing an afternoon nap to getting up around 5:30 and being busy all day. Plus he has gone from using insulin twice a day plus the pills to only using it once in the last 3 days. Just that fast. Neither one of us has lost any weight yet, but your recipes have so much flavor and leave us feeling satisfied without the breads and potatoes and rice. This morning I made Creamy Parmesan pork chops (with broccoli) and Smoked sausage with cabbage (I used fresh bratwurst because we had it on hand) and Peanut Butter fat bombs.
