Keto Meal Plans for Weight Loss

It is almost Thanksgiving, so we will be traveling several days this week to visit my family in Georgia. Whether you plan to enjoy a keto Thanksgiving (click here for keto Thanksgiving recipes) or you are going to enjoy traditional Thanksgiving foods, I hope you have a wonderful day of celebration and thankfulness. Hopefully, these Keto Meal Plans for weight loss are helpful in showing that following a ketogenic lifestyle can be simple.

I try to take a simple approach and make meals plans that don’t require a ton of ingredients and are easy to prepare each week in my low carb meal plans for weight loss. Also, I further simplify by doubling and tripling recipes at dinner so that we will have leftovers to cover our lunches during the week. Since I don’t have a bulk of extra time in my week, I don’t prep a lot of food in advance; however, there are a couple of things that I do that save time like browning ground beef in advance and freezing it to use later. Many of you have asked me to add breakfast ideas besides bulletproof coffee in my weekly keto meal plans for weight loss. I usually just drink bulletproof coffee in the mornings during the week as it helps me to keep my protein lower and my fat high. Plus, after my kids eat breakfast, it is just easier to drink coffee so we can jump right into our homeschool day. Low Carb Meal Plans for Weight Loss

Monday:

Breakfast – Bulletproof Coffee or Keto Breakfast Bake with Ham, Eggs, and Cheese 

Lunch – leftover Keto Chili from the weekend (Instant Pot recipe or Stovetop recipe)

Dinner – Broccoli and Cheese Soup (Instant Pot recipe or Stovetop recipe) with a Garden Salad

Tuesday:

Breakfast – Bulletproof Coffee or Sausage Ball Puffs 

Lunch – leftover Broccoli and Cheese Soup (Instant Pot recipe or Stovetop recipe)

Dinner –Smoked Sausage & Cabbage 

Wednesday:

Breakfast – Bulletproof Coffee or Sausage Ball Puffs

Lunch –   leftover Smoked Sausage & Cabbage 

Dinner – Out to Eat

Thursday

Breakfast – Bulletproof Coffee (I will be fasting to get ready for Thanksgiving)

Lunch –  Thanksgiving (Here is an excellent list of keto friendly Thanksgiving dishes.)

Dinner – Thanksgiving  (Here is an excellent list of keto friendly Thanksgiving dishes.)

Friday

Breakfast –  Bulletproof Coffee or bacon and eggs

Lunch – Turkey Sandwich on 90-Second Bread (use leftover turkey from Thanksgiving)

Dinner – Chicken Pot Pie using leftover turkey

Saturday

Breakfast – French Toast (single recipe or family size recipe) bacon & eggs

Lunch – clean out the fridge of all the leftovers from the week

Dinner – Grilled Butter Hamburgers, Grilled Zucchini, and a garden salad

Snacks – Homemade Cheese Cracker Crisps, pecans, or pork rinds

Sweet Treat – Keto Pumpkin Pie
